We offer complete pet grooming services in a self-contained, climate controlled unit at your home for both dogs and cats. Your pet will receive personal one-on-one attention from the groomer. Lee County Humane Society, founded in 1974 to address stray animal issues, began with volunteers fostering animals at home. Over the years, it expanded its facilities and services, evolving from a small volunteer group to a comprehensive animal welfare organization. In 2023, to reflect its growth and future direction, the organization rebranded as CARE Humane Society™, with CARE standing for Compassion, Adoption, Rescue, and Education.
